Our Founder

Travis Higginbotham is the Founder and CEO of Due Diligence Horticulture (DDH), where his passion, ambition, and dedication to understanding the science behind crop production has positioned him as a leader in controlled environment agriculture. With over a decade of global commercial experience, Travis is the co-inventor of two smart farming patents, holds a Master of Science in Horticulture and has traveled the world working with a vast array of crops from tomatoes and leafy greens to Cannabis and Poinsettias. He has served as the Director of Research for a top 100 US grower, Global Director of Horticulture for a technology company and as Vice President of one of California’s largest public single-state operators. Now leading a management firm, DDH specializes in business optimization and turnarounds for private equity firms where Travis continues to demonstrate a proven track record of success in growing plants commercially, profitably, and sustainably.
